Hi everybody!
It's been a while since I've had a post to confide in everyone about peripheral things. These days, I rarely go online because sometimes I'm a little stressed due to not being able to create something new. At times like that, I often go offline and sit idly like a dumb person at some cafe or iced tea shop to think.

Every time like that, I usually come up with some ideas, maybe new, maybe improvements from other people or other fields. Not all ideas can be applied immediately because I currently have many ideas but they are still lying there...
So whenever people see me "disappear" for a short period of time, it's because I'm recharging my energy and please sympathize with me. hehe
Back to today's topic I want to share with everyone. In a flat world like today, with "tools" aplenty, anyone can be a perfect beauty of creation that even the most demanding parents would be proud of.
And we always see the glamor and the best of others on social networks. Because almost no one shares their bad things for everyone to see.
I do not deny the benefits of social networks when connecting people together more easily. I used to be a guy who made a living thanks to social networks and the internet because before my main job was digital marketing, but then I stopped using personal Facebook for a very long time, there were times when I reopened it and then Lock again.
There are many reasons, but when I have the opportunity, I will share more deeply about social networks in the following tea drinking topics, but in this topic, I will only share what is related to the obsession of "perfection" on social networks.
I don't know about everyone, but before I used Facebook, I would encounter problems
Seeing others share their happy, successful lives makes us feel incompetent and depressed.
Maybe then there will be jealousy, trying to find bad points to criticize or seeing the field they work in and thinking they make better money, losing focus on what they are doing.
These things happened to me before I even became a Trader. But actually, when you are a Trader, it will have an even stronger effect because there are many people showing off their profits and showing off their garages for their own purposes.
Perhaps many of you are in a pretty good trading situation with 10-15%, but seeing a few people sharing accounts, showing x2, x3 for a few days makes them greedy. Then add more money, break the rules you created and lose all the profits, sometimes even negative capital.

Watching others "live virtually" makes us tend to live virtually as well, looking for the best, looking for ways to brag about ourselves more. I'm also more stressed because what I post on social media is the best image, putting pressure on myself with perfect images.
For example, I uploaded a picture of myself waking up early: teaching early to succeed, but not waking up early every day. There are days when I sleep late and in the morning I still teach late. It gives me the feeling of being fake, not living up to who I am, what I share.
And most of all, live thanks to the recognition of others, from comments, likes,...
Perhaps it was because I was mentally unstable at that time and was still struggling to find the right path for myself.
So I decided to lock Facebook for a while to focus more on the work I'm doing.
1 day, 1 week, 6 months,... gradually I find myself no longer concerned or influenced much by other people's opinions. Love life more, be more optimistic and focus more on self-development.
Focusing more on my inner self, I see how I have improved compared to my old self instead of having to seek recognition from others with compliments and likes.
More time to reflect to understand yourself better, to focus entirely on what you do instead of being caught up in society's judgments.

If you are having a hard time improving your trading results, it is extremely difficult to control your emotions when trading. I recommend that you temporarily go offline for a while on social networks to see if the situation can improve.
Most of this impatience is because you are influenced by seeing people around you constantly getting promoted or bragging about how worth living their lives are.
Each person is a different entity, different starting point, different daily life, different thoughts when each event happens. Whether they live virtually or in real life, it doesn't affect our lives at all so there's no need to worry about it.
You can also just temporarily lock it for a while to focus your energy on what you're doing. When you're mentally stronger, you can return to social media and use it in a different way.
Recently, I also started using Facebook again, with the main purpose of interacting with my friends and relatives, so I filtered my friends and removed unnecessary group pages, only keeping what interests me. and just feel positive. If you can't quit right away, you can use this method.

“PERFECT” IN TRADING

When creating a Youtube channel, I never use words like trading system, I just say method. Because the word system has such a perfect meaning 100% for channel viewers.
Every method has advantages and disadvantages, we choose the appropriate method, there is no correct method 100%.
My sharing method is the same, so we need to manage capital. Don't believe what you share absolutely. What I share is based on personal experience, with a probability of being right or wrong. Please use what I share to test it in backtesting, in practice, then reflect on it yourself to have your own view.
I'm also a Trader like you, maybe because I've been ahead for a while, and I'm a full-time trader so I have more practice time than you.
That's why I don't want to be called a teacher, because I want to be someone who accompanies everyone, not teaches anyone.
