A free guide to effective Instagram selling.
As promised in the previous article, in this article I will go into more detail with instructions on building Instagram for free without using ads.
You should read the article first: “Forget Instagram. Are you ignoring the gold store?” to have a more general overview of this social network to see if it is suitable for your business purposes or not?
Step 1: Set up initial account
Usually, each person will use a Gmail account to register an Instagram account. But I encourage everyone to register 5 Instagram accounts because on Mobile Instagram allows you to use and convert 5 accounts at the same time. So it's like I have 5 accounts to develop at the same time to help increase interaction with customers and earn more Followers in the same period of time. There are many ways to combine 5 accounts effectively. You can follow the method of making 1 main account as a brand and 4 auxiliary community accounts to support pulling Followers to the main account. Because it is easier to follow the community page than the shop, and at the same time, it can promote the main account more naturally.
Tip: Each Gmail IG only allows you to create one account, but there is a small tip: insert a "." In the middle of your email address, IG will be counted as another gmail. However, the mail will still be transferred to the same email by Gmail. For example, your email is: hihihehe@gmail.com, you can add hihi.hehe@gmail.com, hi.hihehe@gmail and you will get 2 more emails.
How to set Username (IG Username)?
Username and Name (Name displayed on the Page) should be related to each other to increase brand recognition and professionalism for the page.
For example: Username set as: “I_tru_ta” then Name should be “Exorcist Garlic“.
The Profile description section should be filled with as much specific and detailed information as possible to show your class and difference from other pages. (In this section, remember to write the hashtag of your Page's name so that customers can find what you're looking for. photos through hashtags are easier)
You can find image icons (Beautiful Emoji) at: Emojipedia
For example: The page you have is " Exorcist Garlic” this is also the brand name so I will use the hashtag #toitruta in every post to brand myself.
Step 2: Content, Content
Even if you are a sales page, you should not only post all sales articles, it will be very boring because no one wants to have eye-catching sales articles every day. You can install additional articles related to the field you sell but not for sales purposes. For example, if you sell garlic, you can write how to pick garlic quickly, dishes that can be made with garlic, etc. This will both reduce boredom and increase page interaction.
Method 1: Follow pages with the same topic as you.
You can click Turn-on Post Notifications to receive notifications when the quiz page has a post. Every move of the other Page will be completely within your sight. Whatever photo they post, you will receive a notification on your phone.
At the same time, when they like or comment on any photo, it will be noted in the Following tab. Thereby, it will be easy to know which hot photos they are interacting with, and with whom in your field.
Your job is to follow the people who follow that page. 90% among them will come back to Follow us if we look at our page's profile which is very detailed, looks professional and has some cool photos...
Method 2: Find hot photos, hot content
Use some of the pages below to find out which content of a Page is hot and rearrange it according to interaction, from there I will reupload those photos and clips to attract Followers.
Besides, these pages also let us know which image filter gives the highest interaction on the other page so you can use it on your own page's images.
Refer to two pages:
???? http://iconosquare.com/
???? http://keyhole.co/
In the past, before using tools, I used these two pages to find many hot photos of other pages and reuploaded them 2-3 times. To my surprise, that photo was still very hot, even with the amount of interactions between them. The next wave was almost twice as high as the previous ones. In short, we're new to the old, so don't force yourself too much to create content that no one else has, or if you have too many likes, it won't be hot.
Method 3: Type hashtag and post on top to save.
Then you can re-upload it a day or two later. At that time, the content was not immediately hot, the post still had good interaction. At the same time, the target audience is very wide so you can rest assured that it can still be used.
Note: If the above is a bit complicated for you. The simplest thing you can do is to upload about 9 - 12 beautiful photos of the product and customer feedback that are eye-catching and make customers excited is enough to get started. (Remember to use square photos). The reason for uploading 9-12 photos is so that when users log in, you will see the full photo on the Instagram application screen.
Step 3. Research post optimization
After a while of uploading about 10-20 posts, you start using the two sites I introduced above, iconosquare.com or keyhole.co, to type in a competitor page in the same field as you to survey:
In this section, there are many parameters, but I think we should only pay attention to two main indicators:
+ Optimal Post Time
+ Hashtags with high engagement are often included in the post description by that page. (Top Hashtags by Engagements)
You can upload 2-3 posts/day or 6-8/day depending on your needs, spread evenly using your brand and niche hashtags to increase interaction and upload at the optimal time that iconosquare.
Remember to divide up a few times a day to upload. I see a lot of people sometimes don't upload for a whole week and then in 10 minutes upload a few dozen photos at the same time ????.
Let me take a simple example when you are sitting elegantly at a sidewalk cafe on a beautiful autumn morning, the wind is gently blowing, you are feeling in love with life. Suddenly there is a street vendor who persists in soliciting for 5 minutes even though you said you don't want to buy. Surely you will get angry and not buy from this person, right?
Don't rush in and upload a series of posts, which is no different from spam, and Instagram will also limit it so customers can only see 1 or 2 of your posts at that time.
To gain a deeper understanding of Instagram's algorithm. You can read more articles: How does the Instagram algorithm work?
Step 4: Evaluate effectiveness.
Doing it for a while you will definitely discover which type of posts will generate the most interaction for your Page. At the same time, if you push sales to your website, use Google Analytics to check how effective it is.
Do you have a lot of customers sending you Direct messages? Which products sell best on your Instagram, how to post them to get more likes, comments, etc.
This will be different for each field so I can't show you what will be effective. You can only experience and feel it yourself.
Step 5: Continue further optimization.
After you have evaluated the content and effectiveness of your work in the above step. Please continue to rely on Iconosquare for further optimization:
- Filters: Use other filters to see if there are more interactions.
- Hashtags: Search for more hashtags in your niche and add more hashtags. IG allows a maximum of 30 hashtags. However, in my opinion, it should only be between 15-20 hashtags.
- Refer to the time when your page has the most followers and post about 1 hour before that mark for natural interaction. If the interaction is good, then during the golden time of the day, your post will be on the top post (Top Post) in a few small hashtags. Then the number of people reached will be greater. I also often use my tools to increase likes for posts in the early stages of posting so that the rate of posts reaching the top is higher.
During this process, every day you go to your competitor Pages or Pages with similar customers to follow their Followers. But first, let's complete the first step to create a professional page and have attractive posts to increase the Follow rate from users.
In an hour, you can follow about 60-80 people, a day about a few hundred people depending on the age (time of account creation) of the Instagram you created. The longer Instagram is established, the better it will be. To build an Instagram, you need to be persistent. After a period of time, your IG is large enough and at the tipping point, the number of followers and interactions will increase faster.
One thing you need to know is that Instagram only allows a maximum number of followers of about 7k people. Therefore, after a while you need to unfollow less to be able to follow again. There will be a slight disadvantage that sometimes you unfollow a person but then mistakenly follow that person again, making it less effective.
Above is the method I used in the past to build an Instagram that you can completely follow and still be effective.
If you want to achieve greater efficiency and save a lot of effort, you can refer to: Sales acceleration service on Instagram by AI mine. What will the service support?
- Follow your Customers, Unfollow those who are not interested. (Do not follow people who have followed you before)
- Automatically interact with your Customers to help increase article display rates.
- Almost helps you find Customers, all you need to do is focus on products and Customer Service.
If you don't have much budget or want to build your own, then follow the instructions above and you can completely build it. But please be patient and try your best to learn more. I believe the effectiveness will be very high, because my Customers are also selling very well on Instagram.
