The current time we are living in is called the 4.0 era, IoT (Internet of Things) creates a flat world that connects everything. With just a phone connected to the Internet, we can do everything with just "touches" and "surfing".
These technologies were born to make the world better, no one can deny this. But individually, each of us psychologically is gradually unconsciously losing ourselves and pampering our minds.
We often talk about physical problems such as eating too much lately so we're too fat, being too lazy to exercise so we're too weak,... but most of us don't realize similar problems are happening to our brains.
Many of you probably know that your job before switching to being a Fulltime Trader was Digital Marketing. I often have to read books on psychology, analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of each social media platform and each type of content, so I also partly understand what social media is doing to us.
But in this article, I will only analyze a small aspect of Social Networks affecting your Trader career.

Social media platforms are all designed in the form of an infinity swipe, with just a gentle flick of the finger the next video will automatically run without you even having to press the play button.
This makes us only watch for 3-5 seconds before deciding whether to continue watching the video and then skip it immediately. And your brain has been "fed" instant noodles constantly, so it's used to everything being instantaneous.
These are social networks that people are spending a lot of time on today such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok,...
In particular, Tiktok is the most "useless" social network representing this culture. With videos under 1 minute, you cannot convey any valuable content other than nonsense videos to kill time.
When entering trading, it will also make you impatient to get rich quickly, like to trade BO, like to trade scalping even though the probability of winning and profit is low but "fast".
And it will usually burn in a "fast" direction!

THINK YOU KNOW A LOT, BUT KNOW NOTHING & LAZY TO THINK
I met a few friends who specialize in watching movie summaries, and they always pretend to brag about knowing everything. I feel sorry for them, they are losing the value of actually watching the movie, which is to experience the emotions of the characters, the excitement in the movie's details,... That is the true value of a movie. movies bring.

Trading will be suitable for those who determine to invest their intelligence, time to study and practice to be rich in a sustainable way in the future.
