Startup 4.0 is a hotter keyword than ever. Whatever we now come to attach it to Technology 4.0. And this book is no exception. I bought this book at the bookstore but because it was wrapped in glossy paper, I couldn't see its content.
However, with hot keywords and a pretty nice cover, plus the lines Smart Business in the 4.0 Revolution, I found it attractive so I decided to buy it.
The author, Dorie Clark, is introduced as a marketing strategy consultant, former presidential campaign spokeswoman, and regular writer for Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and the forum's blog. world,... Sounds very grand.
But the truth is, I think this book is incorrectly titled "Startup 4.0".
The main content of the book is about how to create a personal brand, using professional skills to create Blogs, Podcasts, Email Followers. Basically, almost instructions for you to become a speaker and make money from building your reputation and going to training courses.
Of course, the steps are only general and directional, only providing you with some rather sketchy information.
Perhaps, this book will be suitable for those who want to become a speaker or trainer. Personally, I don't find this field suitable for me, nor do I see how I can apply any of the knowledge this book provides, so I feel like buying this book is really quite a waste of money.
Maybe, if you want to develop as a speaker or teach, it will be of some help to you.
