Dare to think big This is a book I come across quite a lot when I go to bookstores. However, in my mind, I will think of the book as having to think big and do something spectacular, billionaire thinking,...

But the goal I pursue in life is to achieve freedom in time, finance, and work, not to have a high position or make a lot of money (I mean a lot, but I also like to make a lot of money - but money is not everything).

Book review Dare to think big

Because of this, even though I've seen it a lot, I've only read it now. Actually, the original name of the book is: The Magic Of Thinking Big (roughly translated: The Magic of Thinking Big), I think this name is still better than the publisher's title "Dare to think big" - because Dare to think big is also good. Simple, mainly the magic of thinking big.hehe

When reading this book, I felt quite regretful for not reading it sooner. The content of the book is very attractive and realistic, not as I imagined when reading the title.

In each section to develop the mindset of "dare to think big" in addition to arguments and knowledge, there are always instructions and exercises for you to apply in practice.

What I like most about this book is that the instructions direct our thoughts to positive thoughts in life. In the 4.0 era, information is flooded in newspapers and social networks, this is like a luxury. You are always inundated with news of robbery, murder, rape, and false rumors to attract views on social networks. This slowly hurts our souls, sometimes without you realizing it.

There may be instructions in this book that you have read somewhere in personal development or neuro-linguistic programming books, but it is presented in a more understandable and practical way.

What I feel the author wants to convey is that daring to think big will start from small things, not thinking: "I want to become a billionaire!", "I want to become a famous person" ,…

For example, how to develop the vocabulary of people who dare to think big:

  • Use positive, optimistic phrases to describe what you see. For example, someone asks you: How is your day today? Instead of saying I'm normal like always, respond with "I feel great!"
  • Use bright phrases when describing others. For example: That girl is a bit ugly -> She has no strong points in appearance but has a very good personality (I'm just using this example for fun. It's not the author who used this example).
  • Use positive words to encourage others -> praise others every chance you get. You may also see this in winning people's hearts. And I see that many of you misunderstand the author's meaning when he says that feeling like that is "fake" and "fake". However, that's because you misunderstood, the author's intention here is to praise what is sincere, not flatter what is not true. For example, if my teeth are crooked and you compliment me that I have very beautiful teeth, be careful and you will be beaten. Don't skimp on compliments, this brings positive value to both you and the person being complimented! I have tried many times!
  • Use positive, encouraging words when making plans for others.

That is part of the content of the book. There are also many things you can think big in life that the book guides you through such as: Creative thinking, Developing creative thinking, Developing attitude, Creating friendliness with people, Developing develop habits, etc. You will see that when applied, it is very practical. I tried it!

One experience when reading books of this type is that you don't just finish reading them and leave them there. Have a notebook next to you, note down things you can apply to life, good ideas in the book. Then you will read it again and try to apply each part of the book to your life. When you apply that part and see positive effects, you will feel stimulated and excited to apply the next things.

Books are most effective when applied in practice, right? hehe.

Wishing everyone to always "Dare to think big", especially about positive things in life and achieve the goals and success you desire.
