Review The Godfather – The best Mafia novel.

The God Father – The God Father is a very famous and highly praised mafia novel by Mario Puzo. In addition to The Godfather, Mario Puzo has other works about the mafia such as: Bloody Land of Sicily, The Last Boss, Law of Silence, Father and Son of the Pope,... but The Godfather is still considered the best novel.

Even though I've heard about The Godfather for a long time, I still haven't read it because I'm lazy to read novels. Perhaps when you found this review, you are also wondering whether to read The Godfather or not? For me, time spent with Godfather is completely worth it!

The Godfather is a story about an Italian (Sicily) Mafia family whose head is "The God Father" - Vito Corleone. The Corleone family is the leading force among mafia families in New York.

Vito Corleone's nickname "The Godfather" was because he was a person who always helped others, so he was called "God Father" by those around him.

As the person who is always sought after when others are in trouble, Vito Corleone always makes others understand that he helps them out of friendship, intimacy, and love, not because of money or benefits. Therefore, there are people who are willing to follow him, willing to accept death for him.

Godfather was famous for being trustworthy throughout his life. As long as he promised, no matter how difficult the task was, he would do it.

Should I read the novel or watch the movie The Godfather?

After reading the novel, I watched the movie The Godfather because both parts of the movie won Oscars. But in my opinion, you will read the movie much better when you watch the movie, because you will better understand the details of the story when in Part 1 of the movie, even though it was very long, many details were cut out in the movie. story.

Part 2 of the movie I read was rated much better and more thrilling than part 1 of the movie with an extended part not included in the story about Michael Corleone - the youngest son after replacing the Godfather. Parallel to the story of the Godfather's youth (in the book but part 1 was cut out).

But I still don't find it too special. Maybe it's because the movies have been in production for a long time and now there are more brain hacking and action movies.

Therefore, I recommend that you read the book rather than watch the movie.
