Evaluation of Bizweb sales website platform (Sapo) 2018

After the article: Comparing Bizweb and Haravan, which one should you use?  I saw a lot of comments asking for a more thorough review of Bizweb, so I decided to write this article to evaluate this platform more closely.

The analysis article is quite long, I think it will be quite useful for people in deciding whether to choose Bizweb as a sales website or not.

Review of Bizweb sales website system

Whatever I say, I can be sure of one thing right now: Bizweb is currently still the largest e-commerce website platform and has the longest development history with more than 30,000 customers (updated in July/ 2017)

I myself was once a customer of Bizweb when it first appeared (luckily won Bizweb's 2-year eGold package around 2011, but at that time I was still a student so I didn't have enough money to spend on high-end products). At that time, e-commerce was just budding in Vietnam. Bizweb was able to catch the market quite early, so there was a time when Bizweb almost completely dominated the system website platform.

However, becoming "old" has the consequence of making the Bizweb system become a bit old. Because, although Bizweb actually continuously updates new features or versions, it is still essentially a closed platform so users cannot integrate additional 3rd party applications.

Meanwhile, newly joined competitor Haravan has an advantage because it starts using a new open platform.

There was a time when I thought that Bizweb would probably be defeated by its competitors. But in 2015, Bizweb launched a trial version Bizweb Sky with a completely new platform. At that time, I tried it, but because it was new to development, it was still a bit buggy so I wasn't too impressed.

Should I use Bizweb?

Recently, I saw a lot of positive comments about Bizweb, so I tried using it again and evaluated Bizweb Sky, which has some outstanding points:

1.Bizweb is currently an open platform and supports multi-channel sales.

This means that your customer and order data information will be unified in one connection no matter which channel you sell on.

Such as:

  • Website
  • POS – Selling at stores or chain stores.
  • Facebook
  • Zalo
  • E-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Sendo, Adayroi,... according to the information I have learned, will integrate Tiki at the end of October even though Tiki has only recently started allowing shop owners to sell on Tiki. It seems that Bizweb is quite quick in "relating" with third parties to integrate with its platform. Previously, I saw that with Lazada or recently DHL Ecommerce, Bizweb was also a pioneer. In my opinion, this "wide relationship" of Bizweb will help customers feel secure when using Bizweb and will always be ahead of the competition!
  • Sell on other Websites.

Evaluate the Bizweb sales website platform

In my opinion, this will bring a lot of benefits to you such as making it easy to check and look up information, very simply checking information, avoiding errors and fraud when managing. In particular, it helps you save a lot of money because you can eliminate many employees and replace them with an automatic system (I'm very sorry, employees). In today's competitive era, this gives you a much greater advantage over your competitors, it's better to do it early than let your competitors surpass you.

2. Deep connection with Sapo multi-channel sales software

If you own a chain of stores or plan to open a chain of stores, using a multi-channel sales management POS system like Sapo is essential. It will help you manage your store anywhere instead of sitting in one place because you can use it on your phone or tablet.

Sapo is also a product of DKT (Bizweb development company), so it will have the advantage of deeper integration.

One more thing, when I re-learned Bizweb to write a review for everyone. I see DKT also has it DKT Media specializes in supporting Google or Facebook advertising, but now I don't know.

Any shop owner who needs it can use all 3 services at the same time, it is convenient, and it is easy to resolve anything. Don't worry about being in different positions until one side blames the other side and it becomes unresolvable. Both a waste of money and a waste of time

3. Compare Bizweb with competitors in the market.

I will ignore the features that almost every side lists such as: SEO optimization, diverse interface store, easy customization, responsiveness to help the website be compatible with many devices... but only focus on the points different from competitors!

  • Free integration of SSL protocol for Website.

This means that your Website will use the https security protocol. Currently, I see that Bizweb is the only platform that can do this.

This is worth it for 2 points:

– Starting from 2016, Google will prioritize websites with this security protocol in search results, this will help you gain more favor in search results (basically speaking, it will be easier to get to the Top of Google). a little)

– Create trust for customers because on the browser, if you support https, there will be a blue lock trust icon, but if not, there will be an exclamation mark indicating the website is not trustworthy. This blue lock icon usually only appears on large websites (like my Medio Blog, for example. hehe), so it will create trust for customers to place orders on your website. (With my own sales experience, I find this really important!)

  • Abandoned Checkout integration

Since October 2017, Bizweb has applied the Abandoned checkout feature to all service packages (including trials) (this feature Haravan only applies to the highest package).

This special feature helps website owners automatically save customer information after they fill in information on the payment page, even if the payment has not been completed. At the same time, the feature also creates a mechanism to automatically or manually send emails to resell that product after a certain period of time. When customers revisit their abandoned checkout page, the information they previously entered is still recorded to facilitate continuing to complete their order without having to re-enter it.

I think this is a very good feature that I found very useful during my time selling to foreign countries. You can automatically send discount or free shipping emails to increase the closing rate for those who intend to buy, fill out the email but hesitate to pay.

  • Always integrate Google Analytics in administration.

I find this interesting, I don't think any other party in Vietnam has it. Helps you view statistics directly in Website administration. Especially for those shop owners who are a bit tech-blind and hire outside advertising services, they can always check the statistics here to see if the advertising meets the requirements. It also helps avoid being tricked by agencies that don't have the heart to cheat, and still lose money. Traffic is nowhere to be seen.

  • Management application on the phone.

Currently, as far as I know, Bizweb is the only platform that has a management application on the phone. It will help you receive order notifications faster and manage orders immediately because your phone is always with you.

Bizweb website management application on phones

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm lazy and hate being constrained so I really like this. Because I can comfortably go to cafes or hang out while still being able to manage and receive order notifications to support customers almost immediately thanks to notifications on my phone. If you sit in a store holding a computer or laptop all the time, you might get hemorrhoids early...

Those are my (also a seller) evaluation of the features of the Bizweb platform at the present time. Perhaps it will help you have more information to evaluate for yourself whether "using Bizweb is good"?

One thing I realized through the introduction of Bizweb Sky version in 2015 is Bizweb's concern for the interests of customers.

Upgrade bizweb website

Bizweb Sky is a completely new platform that is completely different from the old platform, so it cannot be updated from the old platform. Therefore, Bizweb Sky can only be used for newly registered customers. At that time, I thought that doing so was too disadvantageous for old customers because they could only use the old version.

However, after the new system has run stably, Bizweb allows old customers to switch to the new system for free. This, in my opinion, brings the following benefits:

  • Good support for new customers using better Bizweb Sky version. The new system will certainly take time for support staff, technicians or customers to get used to the system, so initially only supporting new customers will have better quality support.
  • Even if any new system will have small errors that cannot be foreseen, if old customers are immediately updated, if there are errors, it will affect the customer's business results due to the old system. has been running for a long time. When the new system is running stably, the transfer will reduce this problem. At the same time, after the transfer, the Website will also be completely redirected 301 so it will not affect the customer's Website much.
  • This shows that Bizweb has put the interests of Bizweb customers first because customers, old or new, will enjoy the best services, although converting for customers will be relatively laborious like transferring data. , redo the interface according to the new interface,... Perhaps Bizweb's current large number of customers is not a coincidence.

P/s: In my opinion, this is very important when you use the system website. That means choosing a strong partner so you don't "die prematurely" with your website and taking good care of your customers so you always get the best support during use.

That is my assessment of Bizweb, but it is best for you to register for a trial using the link below to have your own user experience.
